It’s been a minute (or two)!
A Christmas/New Year break from the sim had an extension added when I crashed my mountain bike in late January. The crash really knocked the stuffing out of me and while nothing was broken, shoulder pain and bruised ribs have needed time to heal.
Have been doing some easy laps this week and bit by bit it’s coming back to me. Hoping to be able to resume racing some time in the coming weeks.

It’s been a minute!
Have been very quiet on the racing front the past few months. A combination of a busy schedule and a dip in motivation for racing has meant a little break from iRacing as I dabbled with some other games.
Jumped in a Super Formula fixed series official race and had a good time of it. Qualifying P5 and holding my own near the front, resulted in a clean P5 finish. Looking forward to a bit more soon.

RACE REBORT:
Petit Lemans - Split 1, 9am AEDT time slot
P7 in class for our LMP2 entry in a strong field. Lockhart and I paired up for a two driver entry in the Saturday Aus time slot.
Always a very busy (and fun) multi class race, we had some minor adventures along the way but kept the car straight through the full 10 hours. We pushed hard but lacked the pace of the podium LMP2 class runners.
225 laps later (and 264 for Lockhart), I’m exhausted!
