One Week Ago: This isn't just a typical carousel post but truly the most sincere thank you to every single person who showed up and supported this project and screening! It was a risk to screen music videos in a cinema but the cinema was full and to hear that audience members came from Birmingham and Germany made us feel so overwhelmed.

Thank you once again to and for sharing insights with us.

Thank you to every single filmmaker and musician who gave us their permission to screen their work.
We are so proud to be able to screen new work and also earn the respect from industry legends.

SCREENING LINEUP:
These two music videos by that have been pushing the creativity and imagination of music videos in 2025.

Doechii's "Anxiety" samples Gotye's even more massive Somebody That I Used To Know, gets a brilliantly mind-bending video by James Mackel.

In "Denial Is A River" Co-directed by Carlos Acosta and James Mackel, it stars Doechii in her own autobiographical 90's inspired sitcom.It opens with a title sequence parodying that of Family Matters as Doechii enters the house and also has references to a certain classic Fresh Prince moment (Jazz's classic flying on lawn). Actor-comedians Zack Fox and Rickey Thompson appear in the clip, as do fellow TDE artists ScHoolboy Q and SiR, Teezo Touchdown, Earl Sweatshirt, Baby Tate and DJ Miss Milan.

Kadri Mahmoud is the co-owner of the LAUZZA Youtube platform - working as Executive Producer across all visual media, while leading the brand partnerships and activations for the channel.

Kadri is also the founder of COMPULSORY, the award winning London based entertainment company. Specialising in film, music video and advertising for over 10 years – the company has built a reputation in the industry as a tastemaker and pioneer of impressionable work. Kadri's film catalogue has been nominated at the BAFTA's, Sundance, Cannes, Raindance and SXSW.

They are passionate about making meaningful art and have worked with artists such as R***r, Kranium, J Hus, Deno and recently directed the critically acclaimed Black & British music video by Wretch 32 ft Little Simz & Benjamin AD.

Muller has directed videos for Sade, Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, No Doubt, Jamelia, Radiohead, Pink, Maroon 5, Leona Lewis, Shakira, Cheryl Cole and is a longterm collaborator of Sade, Annie Lennox, Gwen Stefani, Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Garbage and Shakespears Sister.
