Just in case you have been living under a rock the past couple of weeks, happy to say we now have copies of the HDQ "Looking Back - The Lost Recordings" 7"EP that comes complete with the amazing 40th Anniversary Issue of Artcore Fanzine available to buy in our webstore now - not many left so don't sleep on it - containing 3 tracks discovered this year plus 2 that we had to leave off our HDQ trilogy of reissues due to space and a storming live cover of "Under Your Influence".... link in comments below, and over 100 orders of RAN went out in the post yesterday, only at the counter for 55 minutes so they are getting quicker !!

Right, that’s the RAN pre-orders done for everyone who ordered it the day we announced the preorder, now on to everyone who has ordered it since then - avoid the co op in Belford post office counter around lunchtime on Monday if in the area !!! And if you want to give me more work to do, link in the comments below - we actually don’t have that many left once the distributor copies go out too! Also as these are random mix and also shrink wrapped on the vinyl, I have no clue what colours these are - would be great to see some photos posted when you get them to see if they are the same as my copy or not :-)

Great news for a Thursday morning when you have the joys of the dentist later - the vinyl and CDs are in for the RAN releases! So I will be packing up pre-orders like one of Santa's little helpers over the weekend before I make myself public enemy number one at the local post office on Monday! If you are one of those people who doesn't do pre-orders just in case we suffered a zombie apocalypse in the interim or something, if you did happen to be waiting for it to land before ordering, head over to our website (link in the comments) and i'll do my darndest to get it out in the next post run on Monday too.. ho ho ho and all that

Today (29th) is my 53rd birthday... which means, exactly 32 years ago today I was upstairs at The Magazine pub in Leicester where we had a private party/gig for my 21st birthday (where infamously a pre-fame Cornershop tried to gatecrash and i told them to go away, with rather fruitier language!! ) .. the two bands that played that night were SHUTDOWN and RAN.. so it fills my heart to finally have announced the RAN albums back on Friday, and I have to say, you have all completely blown me away with the response to it.. I honestly didn't know how it would go, but it seems like there are still a lot of people out there who also loved them at the time, or just happened to stumble upon them now and dig what they heard.. either way, thanks again, its the best birthday present!! Why we always suggest pre-ordering from us is a good idea.. BEEZEWAX "A Dozen Summits" LP is now SOLD OUT from us directly in advance of the official shop release date of Oct 31st! There are still some copies available through our shop distributor (but not many) , as well as in Germany and Japan, and failing that in the UK you will need to pick up a copy from the band themselves when they play next month.. just a good job we happen to have a new pre-order to announce tomorrow.. interesting to see who people have been suggesting on our post yesterday, no one has got it right yet... although one suggestion is close, but no cigar...

October is the month of putting stuff right here at Boss T - first up, its a massive regret that circumstances with my Dads illness last year meant I had to reluctantly pull out of releasing the amazing "Pleasureland" album with Brassneck Records on vinyl for the almighty Boss T stalwarts of BEDFORD FALLS .. well, to make up somewhat for that, we've teamed up with our brother Kazu at Waterslide Records/Boss Tuneage Japan and the band themselves to put this mighty fine album out on limited edition CD... in case you have been living under a rock its a beauty.. links in comments below.. its in stock now (no pre order on this one) - and this is just the start - our second piece of unfinished business will be announced next week and its something that's needed to be sorted out for a very long time - over 30 years in fact, and we can't wait to announce it next week to y'all...
