Louisiana Tech will officially join the Sun Belt. What’s next?

For McNeese Fans, moving up has been the talk around town for the last few years, especially in the landscape of the current state of College Athletics. So what is next?

I don’t anticipate CUSA making a move for another team anytime soon. I expect them to play it out for the next year and see how everything plays out over the next year or so. But also something else to ponder on… Could the Sun Belt adding La Tech be their next step in expansion for that league?

Time will tell, but Heath Schroyer has already been on record saying that if he gets the opportunity to move McNeese up, he’s going to jump on the train. The reality is, the athletic program is in a million times better spot than it was the last go around.
