I never thought it would happen to us, but y’all, it happened. I had a hair appointment after work so my husband was in charge of dinner for himself and our two boys. He decided to throw a frozen pizza on the oven using the Aldi silicone mat. I KNEW I should have thrown away the plastic mat that came with it!! I came home to a house that smelled like it was on fire!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤪😂

A notice explains that the sheepwash was probably built during the Napoleonic wars, and was last used in the 1960s. This sheep wash is on a small tributary stream of the River Simene close to the Broadoak Road just north of Symondsbury, Dorset.

The wash uses the stream as its water supply. The sheep would enter the wash through the pens on the bottom left. The small stream would be dammed at the small archway at the top and the sheep would enter the tank at the top left and then make their way along the channel and exit the water at the bottom right.

BRONZE AGE COPPER MINE: Beneath a hillside in Great Orme, Wales, lies a 4000-year-old copper mine, recognised as the largest prehistoric copper mine in the world. This extensive mine is estimated to have produced enough copper for nearly 2,000 tons of bronze, earning it the title “the Stonehenge of copper mining” from one archaeologist due to its historical significance.

The ancient labyrinth of passageways was unearthed in 1987 during a landscaping project. Spanning over five miles, the network includes tunnels, passageways, and caverns across nine different subterranean levels. The mine reaches depths of about 230 feet below ground, with some tunnels so narrow that they are believed to have been carved by children as young as five years old.
