First the bad news…

I’ll make no bones about it. I’m in blooming agony. My knee repair has failed to work. Inside my leg, one of the screws holding the bones together has snapped. So now I am caught between the devil and the deep blue sea, trying to decide whether to have a full-on knee replacement, corrective surgery or wait and see how it heals on its own…

Big Move. Really Big. Huge.

Today we are upping (walking) sticks and moving into my mum’s flat. Our house is impossible to manage with stairs and only one bathroom. My smashed up/broken leg will thank me! It’s been not a mile away but it feels a mammoth task.

Well, it’s been a long time since I released a new novel, and as for an audiobook, this is a first. I narrate it, and it’s beautifully produced by Pete Stannard with music to echo the storyline. Jonathan Roberts and I have completely redesigned the book from its initial incarnation and we love this image and the fact there’s not a teacup in sight.
