🌟I want to mention and his compositions. He published great books with smart and original compositions, which can be really useful, helpful and inspiring for both the church services as well as concerts!

I had his books since my time as in Stuttgart and I brought them with me to in order to bring some originality to the church repertoire!

But I have to admit: it helps to play ”him”! 🤪

̈teborg

Yesterday evening I took part to a wonderful music project of the Oscar-Fredrik-Församling in Gothenburg. 🇸🇪
As “usual” I set on the Continuo organ for J.S.Bach’s Magnificat (my cup of tea, normally) ☕️
But I also sat on the piano 🎹 , in a concert for the first time in almost 20 years.
I dedicate so much time to time to Harpsichord and Organ that I pushed the Piano to the only hymns and music pieces for church services. It was really nice to see that I still can do something pianistic and surely with yesterday concert I can confirm it! 💪
Reinforced and motivated by working together with a great choir conductor (Gunno Palmquist), I now happily 😊 looking forward to my performances and my music making as a solo-guest performer.

A wonderful Sunday to y’all.

🌿Palm Sunday was great! 👍
I sat on the organ and on the harpsichord for the continuo part of Dietrich Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu Nostre! 🎶🎵🎶
Under the conducting hands of Sara Hjort and good musicians-colleagues the performance was a success! 📣📣📣
It is always a pleasure to take part to such significant music programs.🎵🎶🎵
I am always looking forward to make more and more music. 🔊🔊🔊
If you need me, people, 👉 there I am: ready!

As much as I love to play the organ - and be an organist - the “first love” is never forgotten.

So here I am: as an Harpsichordist and Continuo Player.

😇 - Everyone knows I play organ and harpsichord and that I am a church musician.

But since my move to Sweden 🇸🇪 I did not play my harp publicly. Well, that is about to change ‼️

Sunday March 16th at 16:00 I will be part of the Taizé-Consort accompanying the afternoon Mass at the Anderslöv Church.

Already at 14:45 the ”Spontaneous”-Choir meets to try the hymns. If you’d like to have a satisfying, first hand, real choir experience, join us at 14:45 in the church.

It’s gonna be joyful (for the soul) and fun (for the spirit) ❣️❣️❣️

Today - a day before my Birthday and after a long silence - I desire to share something publicly I kept for me for quite some weeks.

During the 100 years Jubilee of the Swedish Radio Choir, I had the pleasure and the great honour to conduct such great singers. The Caroline Shaw’s motet “…and the swallow” was my performance piece.

It was an experience on how manage a “human music instrument” (such a choir).
I have learned numerous things in just one experience and I was touched by the flexibility, openminded, respectful and welcoming exchange of ideas and feedbacks between me and choristers.

Thank you and their gentle and wise conductor: Kaspars Putniņš

P.s.: you can see the post on the official IG profile of Radiokören.

🇮🇹 ——> 🇸🇪

My concert yesterday was wonderfully well received. It has been genuinely moving to see how such a community got together to celebrate the restored organ and how many people felt touched by the sound!
A wow effect!

It was also the perfect time to knot new friendships with two kind men, don Adriano Cifelli and don Fulgenzio, to whom I wish the best for the their communities.

A highly pleasure was to see at work two passionate and precise organ builders: Nicola Puccini and Guido Galli.

The long conversation with the Archbishop of Campobasso -His Exc. Mons. Biagio Colaianni- about the (Organ) music as an ecumenical instrument was refreshing and inspiring.

After two days in the Italian region of Molise, it is time to get 🔙 home to Sweden.

Further musical performances need to be prepared. 😌🤓

I hope -once for all- that this cold 🤒 leaves my body!!!

🇮🇹 C’è un piccolo gioiello;
proprio là, a Baranello!

Next Friday Feb. 7th at 19:00 I will perform a Concert in the church of San Michele Arcangelo a Baranello (Molise) 🇮🇹

Originally built by Ruffatti in 1950 this little instrument is really a surprise in sounds and versatility!

After the benediction of the Bishop of Campobasso S. Ecc. Mons. Biagio Colaianni, the Organ will start playing again after a lonNicola Puccinilence for the restoration works pursued by the skilled organ builder Nicola Puccini.
