Deeply grateful to
Forgotten Island the movie is incredibly rich, layered, and well-made.
The filmmakers used Filipino myth and tradition to build a genuinely captivating, impactful cinematic world, making it a brilliant example of heartwarming and engaging storytelling.
It is amazing for kids and people of all cultures to experience a story this deep on the big screen, showing them how compelling our south East Asian roots and heritage are. The film carries that same high-energy, thrilling creative DNA that made K-Pop Demon Hunters and GOAT such massive hits.
I spent a most of the movie crying all sorts of tears because it hit me right in the heart as a Malaysian child.
Watching the kids genuinely love and connect with the plot proves that great filmmaking is universal when the source material is this deep and engaging. It is sophisticated and culturally rich.
If you want an animated movie that the whole family will love, this is an absolute must-watch. 🎬🇵🇭🔥
