Who are we? Fierce Cat Media is a diverse team of creatives (and Karima), looking to make new waves in the independent film industry. Named after the house cat, Bob, who's main resindetre in life has been to fiercely guard the stairs in our house. this sparked a brainwave in the MD's head, if a cat can guard stairs, then we can guard the future of new British creatives. no, i didn't see the link either. The fact of the matter is, Fierce Cat Media is a film and production company, who write the material, film, produce and direct-and we are always looking for people to get involved. Our vision is to be a leader in the independent film industry, sourcing, nurturing and exposing new talent from all around the UK-as well as taking advantage of this new fangled social networking business to attract viral attention, not only from across Britain-but all over the world. Sue Green
Sue is the preverbal backbone of Fierce Cat Media, not only does she write the pay cheques, she also writes the scripts, produces and directs, as well as running a home whose stairs are dominated by a maverick cat, known as Bob. She is an award winning writer, and has been co-exectutive producer on three films all currently in post production. It usually takes people years for the transition from writer to producer, but not our Sue, someone who lives in fifth gear (much to the exhaustion of her poor Hubby) she has managed to climb the ladder in under 12 months. Karima is the mouthpiece of Fierce Cat Media, she does all the talking, networking and organising to get all sorts of people interested in getting involved in our adventures. Her hopes for the company is to expand it, not only for feature films, but for short films/music videos and documentaries for local artists. Karima doesn't have a creative bone in her body, but she knows people that do-so if you have any questions or just want to become a member of the fierce cat media family then let her know. she will be happy to speak to you, and being the nosiest person that ever lived, i have no doubt keep you on the phone learning all about you for at least 20 minutes-so make sure you have time to spare. Charlotte is our resident media ju**ie, taking charge of the social networking, she will be the person sending you promotional messages and updates about the company-and getting you excited about the new feature films in the pipeline. her main line will be 'tell your friends!'. She will also be taking charge of our features area on the website, and hopes to be interviewing local talent from Actors, Musicians, Film Makers, Screen writers, Poets, Artists-you name it. if its creative, she wants to hear from you.
