Faith-Ann Branford is a single mother of two (2) daughters, ages four and seven years old. She is a senior teacher in the Secondary School System in Guyana, South America, where we reside. At thirty-five, Faith has been a dedicated educator until March 2022, when, after several doctors' appointments and tests, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor (right cerebello-Pontine angle tumor), causing significant brainstem compression. From March to present, there has been significant deterioration of her condition, including decreased eyesight and loss of some mobility which has led to her discontinuation of work as an educator. Currently she is unable to care for her children and has been receiving help from family and friends to meet daily basic necessities; including but not limited to personal care and household chores. Faith-Ann has limited income; and the resources we had are now depleted due to the ongoing medical expenses. There is no medical facility in Guyana that is adequately equipped to perform the necessary surgery needed to remove the tumor. As a result, she is being referred to the island of Trinidad for the necessary treatment/surgery. Estimated medical expenses and related costs: $45,000 U.S. It is in consideration of the foregoing that we present the urgency of this mercy aide.

Please accept our gratitude in anticipation of your prayers and generous support/donation.

May the blessings of Almighty God be with you and your families

My name is Orin Branford. I am an ordained Minister in Guyana, South America. My wife… Melisha Patterson needs your support for Faith-Ann's Medical fundraiser

Aïcha Macky's eye-opening and beautifully told story, The Fruitless Tree, makes its U.S. Premiere tonight at Maysles Cinema in Harlem at 7pm. "I want to draw people’s attention to the existence of the problem first. To make it known as a public health problem that must not be overlooked – especially in Niger where a woman cannot be simply a woman without being a mother and a wife. Where an inability to conceive a child is treated as a woman’s problem and never a man’s problem. I want the audience to be aware of the situation facing women in Niger and all over the world." - Aïcha Macky, quoted from

The Battle of Algiers 1966
Directed by Gillo Pontecorvo
Written by Gillo Pontecorvo
Franco Solinas
Cinematography Marcello Gatti
Edited by Mario Morra
Mario Serandrei

The movie is about a former French Resistance fighter during World War II, who is sent to 1950s Algeria to reinforce efforts to squelch the uprisings of the Algerian War. There he faces Ali la Pointe, a former petty criminal who, as the leader of the Algerian Front de Liberation Nationale, directs terror strategies against the colonial French government occupation. As each side resorts to ever-increasing brutality, no violent act is too unthinkable.

🔥🔥🔥 😧😧😢😢We look at others and view them as examples. Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, friends, bosses, mentors, authors, artists. I’ve done that too. In fact, I still do it. Learning from others is one of the best things that I’ve done. Being humble is a good thing.
But here’s the catch: You’re not all those people. You are you.
That means one simple thing: Get off the beaten path, and create your own.
Of course, traveling the road that has been paved by others is much easier. But it’s not fulfilling. And accomplishment weighs more than money, status, and even comfort.
Don’t be afraid to go into an unknown direction. Go places where people never been before.
How do you know you’re going somewhere new? People will likely not understand you. And that’s a good thing. This was just a crazy idea in my head March 2016!!!!!!! It was so not making lot sense when I share it with friends but it was playing heavy in my head 🤣I found the right people, the best team, the best crew, the best talent and the best brands and today, this is R.E.A.L.I.T.Y 🙏🙏🙏 No single music act or comedian on that stage than on-Campus entertainers and HAKKUNDE 😰5,000 capacity filled up in one night 🙏🔥Thank you to everyone behind this and my Soldiers. Thank you for bringing this movie to the the students of Obafemi Awolowo University 🙏 This is for the book. cc: @ Gauteng

However the gift of a pair of binoculars from Pam enables him to watch the shady comings and goings in the apartments across from his - initially it was intended as a toy for helping him kill time.
