Here is my write up on the newest Cleveland Cavalier. One of the best shooters in the draft. Steph Curry-like range on his three. Improving as a playmaker and needs to improve on defense, likely by adding muscle and strength to his frame.

Cleveland did not find the right deal for the fifth pick, and selects Vanderbilt PG Darius Garland. It will be interesting to see how he plays with Collin Sexton.

Suns trade 6th pick to the Timberwolves. Minnesota is looking for a point guard. Garland will likely be the pick if not selected by the Cavs at 5. Coby White is the other option at 6.

Update!
The Hawks trade for the 4th overall pick. They are likely to go with DeAndre Hunter, F, Virginia. This will leave Darius Garland, G, Vanderbilt at 5 for the Cavs. Although they drafted a point guard in Collin Sexton 8th overall last year, I believe that Garland will be the pick at this point. Culver and Reddish are options if they do chose at 5. I also would not be surprised if someone else moved up to take Garland.

1. NOP Zion Williamson, F, Duke No question here. Anthony Davis out, Zion in. New Orleans will hope Zion can fill the stands and fill the stat sheet as a rookie for the Pelicans. Having a young core of Zion, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and whoever they select at (or get in a trade for) the 4th overall selection looks like a bright future for the Pels in the years to come if everything pans out.
