Erin Daly made the most of her four years at the Mount. The Maguire Scholar received career development and the opportunity to participate in unique service projects through the program. A peer tutor, Erin speaks highly of serving as fiction editor of the award-winning literary and arts magazine and hosting a radio show for the Mount's station, 89.9 WMTB Emmitsburg. Her most meaningful experience was studying abroad in Dublin during Fall 2023.

Senior Claire Doll has been chosen as a semifinalist for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant award. If chosen as the recipient of the prominent award, she will have the opportunity to spend a year in the Czech Republic, helping teach English and plan community outreach events. She was aided in the application process by the Mount Fellows Society, a program run by the Office of Competitive Fellowships, that helps students seek out prestigious fellowships such as the Fulbright Award.
