🎶 Music and Delirium in ICU 🎶

Delirium remains one of the most challenging complications in critical care. Could music hold the key?

This meta-analysis shows that music interventions significantly reduce delirium risk in ICU patients.

✨ Findings highlight:
✔️ Best effect with slow-tempo music
✔️ 30-minute sessions, twice daily
✔️ Most effective when continued for 7 days

Although promising, the authors stress the need for further high-quality studies to strengthen the evidence base.
