Pray for the Missouri Baptist Convention and Daniel Statesel today. The Equal Protection Resolution was rejected, again, by the Resolutions committee. This Resolution does call for unity in the rejection of Amendment 3, but also calls for Equal Protection — what should be a consistent piece of our ongoing work to Golrify God.

The CLC is at it again in rejecting partiality in judgement while also promoting it. Pray that the Convention will allow the EPR to be heard, voted on, and become the professed standard of the MBC; substituting the CLC’s resolution that is actually out of step with the recent historical record of the messengers.

Misouri Baptist Messengers:
The Christian Life Commission is not representing the historic voice of the Missouri Baptist convention as evidenced in this year’s “Resolution 4”.

The MBC has stated that self-managed, perpetuated, and elective abortion is a sinful blight on our state and nation. Also, it has been said that the MBC will stand strongly against, without compromise, any child abuse and mutilation for any reason.

The CLC is only interested in calling elective abortion murder! Call for substitution! Call for the Equal Protection of the Laws for Preborn Children! Resolve to be consistent!
