Hi, I’m Becky 👋

Let me (re)introduce myself, because a lot has changed since I last did this.

When you first meet me, I’m quiet… for about five minutes. Once I know you, I don’t shut up.

I have a terrible sense of humour (send me your best dad joke) and I still love penguins.

I’m clumsy enough that my best friend carries a first aid kit when we’re out together.

I’m still bad at compliments, once I panicked and told someone they had a “nice face.” No regrets.

If you mention you’re planning a party, I’m probably already looking up venues.

The summer months are a little quieter for me, with lots of clients enjoying a well-earned break (and rightly so!)

Happy Friday... and it's August, HOW?!

It's been a fun week..

🔐 Networking and escape room with NNBN on Monday evening, which was lots of fun!

🤝 The Buzz team day on Tuesday

🕺 Wednesday was for meetings, including our monthly committee meeting at Finedon Community Centre, deciding what events to organise next 👀

🤓 Thursday it was social media scheduling and admin tasks, then a trip to meet my lovely friends beautiful baby boy 💙

✨️ Today I finished off all my tasks for the rest of the week and skipped off to meet Nicki Hetfield-Rogerson for a catch up

On Tuesday I attended the Business Buzz Team Meeting and what a brilliant day it was!

We heard an inspiring talk on resilience from Amanda Fisher and got a fantastic insight into the world of AI from Seema Barba – thank you both for sharing your expertise!

AND… our Wellingborough Buzz Team was awarded a ⭐ One - Star Event Excellence Award! Huge well done to the team 💜

Monday again already?!

How did you spend your weekend?

I had lots of chill time, but then yesterday I thought I'd be a little productive and eat a few frogs 🐸..

💰 Updated my accounts in xero and did all the things no one talks about - like dividend slips, mileage and adding expenses receipts.

💥 Finally made HarrisonHub a google business page! When it goes live, if you've worked with me, reviews would be most welcome 🫶

✨️ Last, but not least... I finally made a website! It's not completely ready yet, in all my wisdom I forgot to check the mobile version and it needs some tweaking 😂 but it looks good (if I do say so myself) for a first attempt!

You may be thinking, why the bloody hell would you do this on a Sunday?! Well, because I'm a nerd and I had a great time 🤓

It also ticked some things off my list that I'd been pushing back over other priorities.

All in all, one happy Becky! Have a great week, can't believe it's nearly August! 💜

Oh hello, Friday 🫶

What a week! The socials are social’d, the admin is done, I’ve had some lovely meetings and a nice family day too.

Now it’s time to get ready to be superrr cheesy with my friends in London tomorrow at an ALL YOU CAN EAT cheese restaurant. What a dream. Never been so excited. If you don’t like cheese, then we can’t be friends 😂🧀

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post this. This is a bit more personal than usual, but sometimes it’s good to share the real stuff too.

Soooo here we go…

Today is my Dad’s birthday, I know I’ve mentioned him before. He passed away when I was 21. It was hard, and I miss him.

I often wonder why we post about these things. It’s not like they’ll see it 😕

But I like to share something to remember him and the fun times we had.

We used to “watch” horror films together. Though really, he’d snore through them while I stayed up watching 😅
He did Jäger bombs with me and my friends and danced like a fruit loop.
Whenever I was out walking, I’d call him and chat absolute sh*te until I reached where I was going.

So that’s a little snippet about me. And a little insight into why I might be quiet sometimes.

You never really know what someone else is going through, so here’s a gentle reminder to always be kind 💜
