I know it's a term that a lot of people are not familiar with online these days, but I am a 20 plus year advertising industry executive and Professor of marketing and business developments so I'm kind of a super geek about this stuff.
Celebrity to me is a business term, it's not an ego term.
All it means is that a lot of people know about your business, but what you really need to have is the right people knowing about your business in a certain way so that they know to take the steps on your client journey to work with you.
This is about helping you create clients and customers in your business and that is much easier to do when you are cultivating a brand experience for your clients rather than just constantly pitching them all the time, but rather, providing value for Your audience in the form of content with the purpose of creating conversions.
Most people have this backward.
A lot of people know how to get attention or a lot of likes or comments on their posts, but when it comes to conversions, they need help because they're not converting all of those interactions into actual clients or customers.
A personal brand is anything and everything that represents you as a person or you as a professional. It's not just about a logo or website or business cards or colors that you wear, it's anything and everything that represents you and in this day and age, people pay attention to people with missions and global movements more than they pay attention to people just trying to sell them things.
It's a balance though right?
Because if you're only doing content marketing without leading clients to make a purchase decision, you won't generate sales.
On the other hand, if All you're doing is constantly pitching people, then you're not cultivating indoctrination to your methodologies and concepts or relationship building.
So what's the answer?
