Libby Emmons makes a great point on Timcast IRL. When we are all just fizzing chemical meat puppets and lose our true metaphysical reality of us being ensouled bodies (created by God), the soul gets replaced with only brain states (not mind states).

Finishing up on the 5 things science can't explain: Fine Tuning, Consciousness, & Morality. In a "physical only" science setting these ideas are best left alone. It winds up either with no reason to hold anyone accountable for anything or the need to discard scientism and possibly let theism into the picture. GASP!

Looking at how philosophy first holds its place over science, we look at five things science can't explain - but Theism can. Two of those things it can't explain are origin or laws. That is, the origin of the universe and the fundamental laws of nature. You'd think this would be an area that science could tackle. However, naturalism fails to explain both, and science needs theism to get it started.

With epistle beginnings and endings, sometimes we glance over them and view them as superfluous or boring.
