12 Weeks of Hope in the Holidays - Week Eight

I hope last week you took time to Come Boldly and ask God for Endurance.

Imagine how the shepherds felt - they were doing their job in the fields watching sheep - hopefully an uneventful evening.

In the span of a frosty breath, God announced his plan to mankind. What had been secret - between Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth and Zacharias is now a Discovery of Hope - A SAVIOR IS BORN!

Is it truly possible to Discover Hope when you are grieving, broken, hurt and living with pain or your life just feels stuck in a routine?

The Shepherds left their field and followed the angel's directions to find the Babe in a manger in Bethlehem. They Discovered Hope in the manger.

You will Discover Hope, too, when you follow God's directions to Order your Steps in the Holy Bible, Obedience to His Word, Praying without ceasing and Endurance.

12 Weeks of Hope in the Holidays - Week Seven

Last week we learned to pause and listen to God's Still, Small Voice. We are now 40 Days from Christmas.

40 Days can feel like an eternity when you are in the midst of grief, stress, and loss.

How can we Endure?

TWO WORDS - Come Boldly

Hebrews 4:16 encourages us to "Come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

Do you need help? Tell your Heavenly Father

Do you need joy? Cry out to Abba

Do you need strength? Whisper your plea to The Shepherd

We all need mercy and grace, but it is especially important during our seasons of weakness that we have a Source for help that sees us, our pain, and has power to help us endure the path we must walk.

My friend - don't walk away. Stay close to the One who Helps and you will know healing, hope, and new horizons.

On Saturday, August 16th, the TAWPAC African Small Business Summit welcomed an empowering lineup of leaders, including keynote speaker Dr. Edna Frenchwood, also known as Chichi Stylxz—the dynamic CEO of Chichimovies Inc. and founder of the groundbreaking Flix Reps Festival & Masterclass.

Held at 3:00 PM, Dr. Frenchwood's session, “the power of your small business,” captivated a packed audience with her powerful message on innovation, resilience, and the transformative potential of independent film and digital storytelling for small business owners in the African diaspora. As a pioneer in bridging film, entrepreneurship, and mentorship, her talk centered on empowering creatives and entrepreneurs to tell their own stories and build sustainable brands.
“I believe storytelling is a currency of power. It changes lives, builds communities, and drives economies,” Dr. Frenchwood shared during her address.

To amplify her message, Dr. Frenchwood was joined by two specially invited guest speakers who gave heartfelt testimonials about the impact of her mentorship and leadership:

FILMS

We have produced 9Films and are looking to help content developers spread their wings! Currently, we are working on a new release, ‘Angel and the Mailman’ this spring! This award-winning film is starring Michael Blackson, Van Vicker, and Maniysha Nayee.

TV SHOWS

In 2014 we launched CHITV, which supports all our TV programming, and development. We aired TV Shows in over one million homes in the US, with attached advertising. We are currently developing a reality show series, two documentaries, and a docu-series.

NON-PROFITS

ChichiMovies has been supporting women, minority programs and non-profits. This means, if you do not have the money, we still find a way to film your story. This is the core of what we do. We want to make sure the world can hear/see you!

YOUTH MEDIA INITIATIVE

We are so delighted to have this program ongoing for over 6 years. We have shot several programs, films and TV shows, spotlighting kids and the Youth. We have now developed a curriculum and teach ‘Media responsibility’. Find out how we can stop by your local school or community center.
