I’ve been fascinated by Infrared Photography ever since I saw the work of Richard Mosse from the war torn Democratic Republic of Congo.

Traditional photography captures visible light, but infrared is invisible to the human eye.

Mosse used Kodak Aerochrome, a decommissioned military infrared film to identify camouflage, as it can distinguish between real and artificial foliage.

There’s no camouflage in my images, but hopefully you’ll find the mix of red and pink hues as fascinating as I do!

…they also massively irritate visitors and turn them away from your content.

I’ve really enjoyed creating social media content for the past few months.

Surfstage is a handmade music & arts festival celebrating faith, music & community in Parbold, Lancashire.

I used some of the photographs I took at Surfstage 2024, and many more images from other great photographers, including - and I riffed off the branded typography created by the Surfstage team to create the A-Z of the festival.

The lineup for 2025 is awesome:

Loads of arts for everyone to have a go at. Loads of live music.
Beers brewed on site.

It’s the most legit festival I’ve ever been to!

A Journey of Hope follows a life journey from finding out about a heart problem before you are born through to old age whilst highlighting the work of the Patient Public Voice (PPV) group in an emotionally engaging, informative manner.

I worked with The Innovative General Practice Collaborative to produce the visual elements for their ‘Safer Screens with Children and Young People’ campaign.

I used user interface icons and typography familiar to users of smartphones, along with a branded colour palette and playful headings to present the sobering statistics around the issue of safer screens.
