God isn't interested in people "acting" like they belong to Him.
He loves unconditionally... but will judge with righteousness. He looks for those who love in spirit and in truth.

Today has been dubbed "Earth Day." What better time is it to remind people... The first verse of the first book of the Bible declares: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Gen. 1:1). Everything here belongs to God. This is echoed throughout the Bible (Ex. 9:29, Ex. 19:5, Deut. 10:14, 1 Sam. 2:8, Job 38:4, Job 41:11, Ps.24:1, Ps. 50:12, Isaiah 42:5, Isaiah 45:18, Mk 10:6, 1Cor.10:26, 1Tim. 4:4, Rev. 4:11, Rev. 14:5-7)

While those who willfully destroy what God has given will be held accountable (Rev.11:18), mankind is called to steward Earth, not worship it.

And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, "Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Rev. 14:6-7)

The real Jesus DID welcome sinners into His presence (and ALL of us would qualify as sinners)— but He ALSO spoke truth to them that could transform them if they chose to accept it (repent). Those who wanted to remain in the world’s ways departed. He didn’t reject them, they rejected Him.

Christians are now the Body of Christ on earth. We are to welcome sinners—AND preach truth (repent and follow Jesus). We are neither called to be all hard edges nor marshmallows. People are free to reject the call to turn and follow Jesus, but that means they are rejecting Jesus as well.

“This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” —1 John 1:5-7
