FIFOI 2025 closes on a high note!
Thanks to the partners, Juries, the audience and the FIFOI Team! Special thanks to French Embassy in India / Ambassade de France en Inde, Mathieu Bejot, and FIFOI Ambassador for India Sonya Mazumdar for supporting India's filmmakers and films. Present at FIFOI were Nishtha Jain, Tarun Jain, Rajani Mani, Prateek Srivastava. A programme of truly excellent Indian Ocean films included India's Farming The Revolution, The Leopard's Tribe, The Ballad of The Mountain, and The Weight of Light which bagged 3 awards.

- 2 jours de convention professionnelle à la Cité des Métiers dans le campus pro
- 2 soirs de tremplin des artistes de l'océan indien sélectionnés par un jury international
- 1 soirée de clôture sur le site du Sakifo, avec une programmation Océan Indien en partenariat avec la SACEM

L'appel à candidature artistes s'est terminé le 17 janvier 2025, avec plus de 200 candidatures ! La sélection finale sera communiquée fin février 👏

✨ The IOMMa returns to Saint-Pierre on Reunion Island on June 3, 4 and 5, 2025 for its 11th edition! On the program:

- 2 days of professional convention at the Cité des Métiers pro campus
- 2 evenings of Indian Ocean artists selected by an international jury
- 1 closing evening at Sakifo, with Indian Ocean line up in partnership with SACEM

The call for artists closed on January 17, 2025, with over 200 applications! The final selection will be announced at the end of February. 👏

Nous invitons les artistes de l’Océan Indien à candidater pour leur participation au IOMMa 2025, du 3 au 5 juin à Saint-Pierre, La Réunion !

Le IOMMa c’est le marché des musiques de l’Océan Indien qui permet aux artistes de rencontrer, d’échanger et de se produire devant des professionnels du monde entier.

Comme l'an dernier, 8 groupes / artistes seront sélectionnés par un jury international pour se produire sur la scène du IOMMa les 3 et 4 juin.

Date limite d’envoi des candidatures : 17 janvier 2025

Festival MARÉ - músicas e artes atlánticas 2024 | MATE brought together amazing Galician + international showcases and professionals, presentations of their work and focused discussions. Sonya Mazumdar presented 20 years of EarthSync's work for the Indian Ocean with a screening of film Laya Project followed by Q&A, and as co-founder also presented JazzRenyon, a platform for Indian Ocean jazz. Deep thanks to Nordesía Produccións Team for doing so much and so well, for inclusivity, diversity, the arts, and developing focused networks!
