Pradhan mantri matru vandana yojana online registration | PMMVY | प्रधानमंत्री मातृ वंदना योजना

Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) is a flagship maternity benefit scheme launched by the Government of India in 2017. It provides direct financial assistance to pregnant and lactating women to encourage proper nutrition and health-seeking behaviour during pregnancy and childbirth.

1. First Child: Total assistance of ₹5,000 given in two installments:
₹3,000 at the time of registration of pregnancy.
₹2,000 after child birth and completion of the first cycle of vaccination.

2. Second Child (Girl Child only): A lump sum of ₹6,000 is provided if the second child born is a girl, aiming to discourage female foeticide and promote the birth of girls.
