Fully functional recording studio that has produced several reputable projects. A few of the musicians and bands that we have worked with and projects we have done include:

The Hillbilly Gypsies - One Foot in the Gravy (2005)

The Hillbilly Gypsies - Come On In (2007)

The Hillbilly Gypsies - Live At OATS w/Extra Gravy (2010)

Also have recorded several sessions with th' Bullfrog Willard McGhee and these sessions included woking with Ruby Jean (of the Weedhawks) and Lindsey Clear and others!

Been making some serious upgrades and progress lately.. I scored an amazing pair of vintage RCA 72a mic preamps that were recapped and beautifully racked by Gruning
Audio-works and also picked up another Black Lion Audio B172A compressor! I also took the big step and finally upgraded my audio interface to a Universal Audio Apollo 16 quad mkll and Apollo twin combo! I can't wait to get back to some recording this winter!

More upgrades and progress! Finally upgraded the mastering software. Went with T Racks 5. I also upgraded reference/mix monitors. I decided on the Focal Alpha 50 EVO’s. I also picked up a couple of AMAZING AEA KU5A ribbon mics a while back. Got them for a steal! Now, the mix and mastering capability quality will be equal to the mic, preamp and outboard gear collection! It’s all coming together now!

Have you ever wanted to learn to play a musical instrument?

Trae Buckner and Levi Houston Sanders (From The Hillbilly Gypsies bluegrass band) will be offering musical instruction in both Morgantown and Fairmont, West Virginia very soon! They are offering instruction for the following:

*Guitar (Acoustic and Electric)
*Bass (Upright and Electric)
*Banjo (Three Finger and Clawhammer styles)
*Mandolin
*Fiddle
*Ukulele
*Autoharp
*Lap Steel
*Piano
*Bagpipes
*Harmonica
*Vocals

Lessons will be offered at Pickers Paradise in Fairmont and at The Retro-tique in downtown Morgantown. Both facilities offer a very professional and a private environment that is key to a productive learning experience.

Between the two of them, Trae and Levi have many years of professional musical experience. If you’ve always dreamed of achieving your goal of learning an instrument then we'll be happy to help.
