The art of play is an essential element of the human spirit. It transcends race, colour, religious beliefs and ethnic tribes. It flows through the fabric of life and makes us who we are. The art of play is the gift of happiness. Based in Zambia, I want to show how play is part of every society across the globe. This project is created for my MA in documentary photography and photojournalism. I wan

t to get underneath the art of play and look at how we use play, why we use it and what possibilities it presents to us during the journey of life.
