It’s officially been one year since my hysterectomy today! There’s an updated video on my channel.

I went years with undiagnosed endometriosis, suffering because I was told that it was normal and that I could be strong.

Ultimately I’m grateful that I never submitted to that thinking because now I spend my days living instead of stressing about whether or not my body will turn on me.

Grateful to Jehovah for hearing my prayers and to my personal support system who nursed me throughout the years.

What’s so good about not having a uterus, cervix and one o***y anymore?

Well, my hair has grown tremendously without breaking off. I can exercise, I have energy, I can work, I have more choices on how I live my life and of course no more periods!

I’m grateful.

I hit 7,000 subscribers on YouTube and I’m proud of that.

Often times I don’t allow myself to celebrate my goals being accomplished, but this time I’m going to and I’d appreciate you joining in!

I have other goals for all of my platforms too, like instagram! I want to grow this community to 20,000. I’ve been in a steady decline for some time but what’s happening on my YouTube channel has me a lot less discouraged about the future of my lovely blog in this app.

Is your smoke detector beeping right now? 🤣 random, I know.

A couple of weeks ago I got really sick because I was ignoring small signs—inner alarms— that were warning me about my stress levels.

I got so good at ignoring the signs that I had no idea the storm that was brewing within my physical body. Let’s just say that mentally I was detached or unplugged from noticing.

Long story short, I got super sick and couldn’t eat anything! It was really gross and I really annoying and super uncomfortable.

Why am I telling you about this? First of all because it’s definitely not safe to have a smoke detector that needs new batteries! Secondly, I don’t want anyone else becoming desensitized to their own needs like I did.

Listen to your body, yield to what you need and don’t allow your desire to keep going to wind up, taking you out of your element.

As difficult as it may be to rest or leave tasks, undone, and work in its place; it is definitely better than hearing that really irritating chirping sound or having bubble guts because you’re stressed!

First meeting at the Kingdom Hall in two years and it was amazing.

also, I love the silhouette style of this dress! It’s comfortable, pretty and WHOA it’s PINK! 😆✨

I’m super grateful I got to share this experience with , our first meeting as a married couple following such sadness that we experienced this week, was much needed and inspiring. We’re looking forward to many more.
