We're back! For one last time in 2016, we're looking at Neurodiversity through the wonderful lens of Film and TV.

To round off a very interesting year, Nicola reviews South Park Season 11 Episode 8, 'Le Petit Tourette,' and Christian reviews two Autism documentaries: 'The New Girl in Class' (which he hated) and 'Life, Animated' (which he loved).

Interesting stuff from the UK

"We want to represent the whole of society fairly. At the moment we are focusing on LGBT, we’re focusing on women, we’re focusing on race, etc. But what about neurological diversity as well? And I think that’s come on to the agenda.”

News from the UK: Labour to appoint a Shadow Minister for Neurodiversity.

What do you think? Would you like to see an Australian Minister for Neurodiversity post election?

An autistic teenager challenges the use of functioning labels and shows us why not presuming competence is problematic.

Asides from cuts to community radio(check out Keep The Community In Your Radio) there are also cuts too we 60 arts and culture organisations including the fabulous Express Media
This article is certainly worth a read and share

Express Media, a 30-year-old institution that has lost its Australia Council funding, helped launch the career of many writers from Christos Tsiolkos to Anna Krien. It's future is now at risk and a generation of young writers will be poorer.
