First time at this festival and I’m in awe—endless rows of vibrant tulips with a stunning mountain backdrop. It’s even more magical in person!

art museum kinda gal 🖼️🎨✨

first 3 pics from Art Aquarium Museum and the rest taken at teamlab Plants

both places are very cute and has lots of photo ops! I ended up enjoying teamlabs way more than I expected! There’s lots of interactive games and exhibitions where you not only get to touch, sense, and feel out of this world. You get to reconnect with your inner child by playing various games, drawing mystical creatures, and transforming you into a fantasy land🦄

Cherry blossoms in the city 🌸

💭My thoughts about Japan’s cherry blossoms as a Canadian living in Vancouver:

😍love that in Japan 🌸 are very thoughtfully planted to place along both sides of the road, with light installations to lighten up each tree at night

😍generally larger than the ones in Canada

😕didn’t find it as wowing as social media portrait it to be, maybe because of the rainy weather during the time I visited

What are your thoughts on Japan’s cherry blossoms?

1. Stumbled upon this pretty cherry blossom spot on our way to lunch 😳

📍Shinjuku station South East Exit (3 Chome-37-2 Shinjuku, Shinjuku City, Tokyo 160-0022, Japan)

2. Exploring around Shinjuku (my fav neighborhood bc it’s so colourful, unique, and lively)

3. Ate at a random ramen shop (called Ikkakuya) with bussin black tonkotsu ramen🍜
