Chancellor has announced today that the government will ensure every state primary school in England will have a library by the end of this parliament.

This is a major milestone for the campaign from and , which we are proud to support to help drive forward our shared mission to ensure a dedicated library space in every UK primary school by 2029.
Owlet Press has been privileged to have our inclusive books selected as part of this programme. Primary school libraries and reading for pleasure can provide significant benefits for children’s academic performance, mental wellbeing, empathy and confidence, but hundreds of thousands are missing out because they simply don’t have access to a school library. We are proud to have played an important role in this huge step forward for equity, education and giving every child the best start in life.

There is so much work that happens behind the scenes when creating a . As we developed the 'Pip' story further and further, one of the scenes towards the end of the book changed, and so this charming image by ended up being worked into something quite different. That said, it was too good not to share! Pip in Paris, the perfect pigeony sequel, perhaps?
