Senate Press Corps Honours Some Eminent Nigerians.

It was a moment of recognitions for some present and past Distinguished Senators, Governor Yahaya Bello and others were honoured by the press corps of the red chamber of the National Assembly.

The event was chaired by the Senate President, Senator Dr. Ahmed Lawal, CON, Ph.D also had in attendance the Deputy Senatet President, Senator Movie Omo- Agege, Senate Leader, Distinguished Senator Yahaya Abdullahi, Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Duoye Diri who was also honoured among other guests at the event.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of the awards at the occasion.

When Senator Adeola & Wife Celebrates 20th Wedding Anniversary In a Grand Style.

It was a celebration galore as the Distinguished Senator who is also Chairman Senate Committee on Finance, Senator, Solomon Olamilekan, FCA ( YAYI) and wife Mrs. Temitope Adeola brought together political associates, friends and well- wishers to celebrates their two decades of their marriage in Lagos recently.

The event had in attendance some of the personalities such as : the Hon. Minister of state for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, some of the Distinguished Senators across the country, DG, Budget Office of the Federation, Mr. Ben Nwabueze among other guests that graced the occasion. When Blueprint Honours Governor Zulum

It was a roll call of "who is who" at the Blueprint Newspaper 10th Anniversary and 2020 Impact Series/ Awards held in the nation's capital.

The Anniversary Impact Series/Awards which was chaired by the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Ahmed Lawal, CON also had in attendance key political actors cut across party line who have proven integrity both in character and performance in leadership and governance.

Receiving the Award onbehalf of his boss the Executive Governor, Borno State Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, mni, FNSE was the Chief of Staff to the Borno State Governor, the erudite Professor of Pharmacology, Prof. Isa Marte Hussaini, FAAS, FAS, FNAPharm, FPSN on Thursday at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

Among those eminent Nigerians honoured by the Blueprint Newspaper at the event were Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, Prof Senator Ben Ayade who was physically present, other Governors were ably represented among those that were honoured at the event. It was a celebration galore as all roads led to Emilamgbo, Tachi-Ephati, Doko Bida in Niger State when the erudite Professor Ibrahim Hussaini Doko the Director General, Raw Material Research & Development Council (RMR& DC) gave out his beautiful daughter Aisha Ibrahim Hussaini to Aliyu Usman in marriage in a grand style.

The First 2020 Plenary Meeting of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) held at the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, Durumi, Abuja.

The Opening Mass which was had in attendance, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo Governors of Imo and Plateau States, His Excellencies, Senator Hope Uzodinma and Rt. Hon. Solomon Lalong respectively.

Also in attendance were the Honourable Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amechi and his wife Mrs. Judith Amechi among other notable dignitaries that graced the event.

The management of the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi commissioned Three New Building: Medical Laboratory Expansion, VIP Amenity and Hemodialysis Centre.

Speaking at the event, the Honourable. Minister of State for Health, Dr. (Senator). Adeleke Olorunimbe Mamora, said it is very huge achievement by the centre because, in his years in office, he is coming back for the second time to commission projects in the centre.

Earlier in his remark, the MD/CE, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Dr. Yagaya Baba Adamu thanked the centre and contractors for their hardwork, patience and dedication towards ensuring the completion of the buildings.
