“Dare to declare who you are. It is not far from the shores of silence to the boundaries of speech. The path is not long, but the way is deep. You must not only walk there, you must be prepared to leap.” - Hildegard von Bingen Music can help us achieve a kind of stillness that's elusive in the modern world....

Days and nights are in balance for a moment, and the season tips toward spring and new growth. After a difficult winter, the change is welcome. Time for spring cleaning! We’ll hear from a variety of artists today who honor the Spring Equinox in different ways. Our Story

At Water’s Edge is now The Edges of Dreaming!

The studio no longer lives anywhere near water’s edges, but we continue to explore dreams.

Begun in March of 2012 as “At Water’s Edge” (because the studio was next to a lake at the time), the program has evolved over time into a weekly exploration of electronic, electro-acoustic, ambient, and experimental music from all over the world. With monthly challenges (“This is hard!” “That’s why it’s called a challenge.”) that inspire artists to explore outside their comfort zones, lively chat conversations, and a presence in Second Life, The Edges of Dreaming takes up residence in that misty space between asleep and awake. That’s where magic happens.
