THE VANISHING OF FAUNA FREY
Today is June 29th. It has been 5 years since beautiful, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Fauna Frey vanished without a trace.
Fauna was last seen in the Grants Pass / Rogue River areas of Southern Oregon, and is one of hundreds of missing people in the state.
Fauna traveled to the Grants Pass area – a place she was very familiar with having lived and worked there for many of her adult years, and grew up in nearby Selma.
Fauna's older brother, Dallas, died suddenly just days before, and she was on a mission to share part of a collection of silver bullion coins he had collected over the years. She believed Dallas would want three people to have a share of the coins. Only one of those people saw her that we know of – Dallas's best friend since childhood, Sean.
Before her disappearance Fauna is known to have visited Wolf Creek, Cave Junction, Rogue River, several businesses in the City of Grants Pass, and the Fish Hatchery Road area of Wilderville, including Fish Hatchery Park North.
Fauna picked up a hitchhiker in the Wonder or Wilderville area and took her to an unknown location on Fish Hatchery Road.
Witnesses say they saw Fauna in a white BMW driven by a man, exiting a nuisance house on Fish Hatchery Road a short time before her disappearance.
