Good morning and happy Sunday, May 17th! One cappuccino for Katie and two long blacks for me, and yes I accidentally made myself a five shot long black this morning. No regrets whatsoever.
Weekend project mode is in full swing. Yesterday Katie and I worked on the backyard and it is looking really good. Today is garage day, going through two households worth of stuff that got merged when we moved in together and never really got sorted. Keeping what we need, getting rid of the doubles and in some cases the triples, and making more room for Wick'd Queen production operations going into the busier summer season. The garage is my domain and I am fired up to get it organized.
Also making room for a motorcycle. Just kidding. Kind of. The 2026 Yamaha R9 in the 70th anniversary white with red and black accents and gold emblem is genuinely one of the most beautiful bikes I have ever seen and I cannot stop thinking about it. Have not ridden seriously since going down on September 10th 2010 but the M1 license is still valid and the itch is real.
Today I am flying the new DJI Flip for the first time. Plates arrived yesterday, batteries have been charged for over a month, and once the remote ID module and anti collision beacon are installed I am taking it up. Thinking about heading toward Mount Diablo which looks stunning on a clear day. Cannot fly in the state park because government land rules but the views from outside the boundary should still be incredible.
Also on my mind this week: GTA 6 is coming in November and I genuinely think it might be the biggest game ever made. Played over 800 hours of Red Dead Redemption 2 story mode alone and GTA 6 is from the same makers. Not rushing through that one when it drops. Collector's edition whatever the cost.
