Random Records is a non-profit label created exclusively to help projects supporting indigenous comm

There are, today, over 300 million people, including at least 5000 distinct indigenous tribes in 72 countries that live under conditions of oppression and forced cultural assimilation. These people have historically been excluded from the decision-making processes of the modern states that have been formed in their ancestral lands and they live marginalized by the modern societies. Many have been

targeted by paramilitary guerilla groups that serve policies of profit with total disrespect to human rights and dignity. The grievances and interests of indigenous people can be very similar around the globe when it comes to the struggle for preservation of their identity, cultural heritage natural way of life.

The new Random Records episode at Radiozora features a 3-hour live DJ set by KADUM.

Recorded live in his home studio, this set represents a broad overview of the KADUM project. It features a wide selection of tracks released since 2021, alongside several unreleased pieces offering a glimpse into future material. The mix also includes special collaborations released on various labels worldwide.
Starting around 140 BPM and gradually evolving up to 160 BPM, the set unfolds as a continuous and immersive journey.

Kadum (aka Kadu Rauth Hidalgo) is a Brazilian electronic music producer with a strong background in live instrumentation. Trained in piano and active as a saxophonist and transverse flutist, his music blends organic musicianship with electronic production. His sound is defined by groovy basslines, psychedelic melodies, and influences from funk, jazz, and progressive psychedelic music — always aiming to bring a deeper sense of musicality to the dancefloor experience.

💫 We’re happy to share that Random Records has been featured in “Conversations from the Psychedelic Underground” on the Ozorian Prophet, thanks to the wonderful Krisztina (Ahuva).

In this interview, our founder DJ Dark el Kante shares the story of how everything began back in the mid-2000s, when Random first emerged from the underground psytrance scene of Edinburgh; evolving from a small collective of friends into a non-profit music label that supports Indigenous communities through electronic sound.

For us, this is not just about music; it’s about connection, solidarity, and using art as a force for good.

Episode 32 of Random Records is now available on Radiozora, featuring a live set from OKTA recorded at Kosmos Festival 2025, with tracks spanning 25 years of his electronic explorations. Okta has been exploring freeform electronic music since 2001, drawing on influences from electro, techno, breakbeats, suomisaundi and psychedelic trance. His music has appeared on labels such as Antiscarp, Nullzone, Hippiekiller, Random Records and more, always staying true to an underground, experimental spirit.
