“Whispers of the Soul”: Ali Mammadoff’s Intimate Dialogue with Brahms and Chopin
KNS Classical is proud to announce the release of Whispers of the Soul, a powerful new album by Azerbaijani pianist Ali Mammadoff, exploring the rich inner landscapes of Brahms and Chopin.

This deeply introspective recording brings together two monumental pillars of Romantic piano literature: Brahms’ Intermezzi Op. 117 and the complete 24 Preludes Op. 28 by Frédéric Chopin. In Whispers of the Soul, Mammadoff offers a thoughtful dialogue between two distinct voices: Brahms’ intimate lyricism and Chopin’s mercurial expression; both echoing the deepest corners of the human psyche.

With a nuanced and expressive touch, Mammadoff captures the introspective tenderness of Brahms’ late intermezzi, music often described as lullabies for the soul. In contrast, his reading of Chopin’s 24 Preludes reveals a vast emotional arc, from storm and anguish to serenity and grace, always attentive to the fragile balance between structure and spontaneity.

Already acclaimed for his performances at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Gabala International Music Festival, Mammadoff brings a distinctive voice and refined artistry to this recording. A laureate of international competitions both as a pianist and composer, his interpretations reflect not only a mastery of the repertoire, but also a profound personal narrative shaped by a rich cultural journey from Baku to New York and beyond.

You can now listen to the recording on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and YouTube: https://www.knsclassical.com/release/whispers-of-the-soul/

📀NEW RELEASE📀 - Devastato Talent School 2025 by Giuseppe Devastato

KNS Classical Releases “Devastato Talent School 2025” Featuring Rising Piano Talents
This new release brings together a group of young pianists shaped by the teaching of Giuseppe Devastato, one of the most influential figures of the Neapolitan piano school today. Rooted in a tradition that has produced generations of artists, the Devastato Talent School combines a rigorous approach to technique with a deep commitment to expressive clarity, poetic nuance, and the bel canto ideals of phrasing and sound.

The album offers a broad and ambitious selection of repertoire, from the lyrical elegance of Cilea to the virtuosic brilliance of Liszt and Busoni. Each performance reflects not only the individuality of the pianist, but also the coherence of a shared musical vision; one that privileges the emotional message of the music over mere technical display.

The featured pianists include Lorenzo Stasi, Sara Amoresano, Elisabetta Furio, Meiling Fang, Andrea Gatti, María Ángeles Ayala, Quirino Farabella, Kevin Zhao, Melissa Ibrahimi, and Pier Carmine Garzillo. Their interpretations stand as evidence of the vitality of a teaching tradition that, under the guidance of Devastato, remains as relevant and inspiring today as ever.

The album is a portrait of a school that does not seek to impose a style, but rather to awaken the artistic identity of each performer through discipline, knowledge, and imagination. A testament to the enduring legacy of the Neapolitan piano school, “Devastato Talent School 2025” is also a window into its future.

A Journey Through Czech Soundscapes: Xuesong Cao’s “Pábitel” on KNS Classical
KNS Classical is proud to present Pábitel, the new recording by celebrated accordionist Xuesong Cao, joined by pianist Quanlin Wang. A graduate of the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover and lecturer at Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Cao brings extraordinary artistic insight to this deeply evocative and conceptually rich album.

Pábitel invites listeners into a profound journey through Czech musical landscapes, from the intimate introspections of Leoš Janáček to the narrative vibrancy of Václav Trojan. Janáček’s On an Overgrown Path, originally conceived for harmonium and later transformed into one of the most poignant piano cycles of the 20th century, is here adapted for accordion and piano by composer Stefan Heuke. This arrangement retains the emotional depth and folkloric character of the original while offering a unique perspective through the coloristic range of the accordion.

In contrast, Trojan’s Fairy-Tale Suite, composed in 1959, transports the listener into a world of whimsical characters and vivid storytelling. Long cherished within the accordion repertoire, these seven movements reveal Trojan’s lyrical imagination and his gift for weaving charm, wit, and dramatic flair into his music.

The album’s title, Pábitel, draws from the Czech term for a storyteller who lives in a dreamlike world of imagination. The carefully considered track order, moving from shadow to light, echoes this metaphor, transforming sorrow into joy and darkness into hope.

Pábitel is now available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon Music, and YouTube: https://www.knsclassical.com/release/pabitel/
