We are pleased to share additional details on the highly successful NorCal Backgammon Championship. I apologize for the delay in posting the Jackpot results and pictures; they are included here. The results are also accessible on our website and on Chicago Point. We look forward to seeing you all again in Spring 2026.

My deepest appreciation for everyone who joined us at The NorCal Backgammon Championship. The tournament was well attended, with 60 players from across the West Coast. Feedback indicated that the players appreciated the venue aboard The Delta King riverboat. In addition to the main event, there were several side events. Additional attractions included catered hors d'oeuvres at the reception on Friday, continental breakfast on Saturday, and lunch on Sunday, all prepared by the Chef in the restaurant on the Delta King. Players also viewed fireworks over the Sacramento River on Friday and Saturday from the playing room window. Good times were had by ALL! Pictured here are the drawsheets from the Main Event. I will post the side event drawsheets with picture soon… stay tuned.

The Players are Playin' and the Dice are Rollin' and the place is packed.. had to add a couple more tables to accommodate all the walk-in players. The countdown begins – just 4 days away! I’m so pleased with who and how many players registered for The NorCal. We have players from Oregon to the Mexico border, and all point in-between. It’s really turning into a spectacular event and I’m looking forward to hosting the best {little} tournament on the West Coast. Our goal is to provide players in the Western US and beyond an opportunity to play in a structured tournament where they feel welcomed and respected. Our Slogan – Organized by the Players for the Players. In our last event held in September 2024 we met that goal while adhering to our slogan.
