I’m beyond excited to share this — we’re getting so close to reaching Twitch Affiliate! It’s absolutely insane to think that it’s only been a few months since the rebranding of TrueButcherr, and none of this would’ve been possible without all of you.

Hello everyone!
Due to some unfortunate circumstances with the PureButcherr branding we were forced to rebrand.
This was totally out of my control and was not caused by behaviour or anything else that I have done to cause this devastating problem but rather a silly loss of an email address that was lost due to a compromise. I fought effortlessly to recover the email address and I came in contact with the email provider where they helped me recover my account due to accurate information and proof of identity of the account owner. They told me that the alias was removed and changed to a new alias and when I requested that the alias was to be returned to its normal alias they told me that was impossible to do. Despite all my efforts, regardless of any two factor authentications I had in place this was not enough to prove that the account belonged to me and I needed access to the email address to obtain such codes and verifications to prove that it was me and I could not provide that type of information due to the compromised and lost email alias therefore resulting in mass loss in most of my accounts.

I went above and beyond to provide details and other information regarding each account. Since the accounts were pretty old many things were not up to date as I never got that far not only that but I don't carry around a book full of things I did in the past, for example I don't have the same computer used to create accounts so how would I remember information regarding that computer? Questions like this are very silly if you ask me and I think they didn't want to help me, especially after I became aggressive because I saw loss and I was not willing to accept that.

There was a meaning behind the PureButcherr brand and it just had a good ring to it, TrueButcherr not so much the same. It's going to take some time for that to even feel good to say but not only did I lose the branding but I lost a lot more than that. The branding had sentimental value behind it, I also spent countless hours, days, weeks and months building the reputation of PureButcherr, I worked hard and begged and pleaded to friends to watch me stream on twitch so I could earn affiliate, I spent money on games, subscriptions and content that I will never get back and i do not meet the refund policies they have in place so I can buy those items on another platform or create a new account to purchase those items again. It was a mass destruction over just one email because the platforms I was trying to recover has so many unnecessary protocols to follow in order to protect our accounts. I have never run into these issues before in the past, If I wanted to change an email address on an account I just did it, I didn't need a verification code sent to an email, I could send it to the phone number on file instead or go through the two factor authentication. So, here I am today rebuilding a new brand from scratch mostly. Any content created by the PureButcherr branding that I was able to hold onto will forever be a keepsake of the branding. We will never forget the PureButcherr branding but we will rebuild the TrueButcherr branding to be an improvement of PureButcherr.

Same person, different brand. We want to thank everyone for your continued support towards the growth of TrueButcherr. Thank you for your follows, likes and subscriptions. Even though it is a pain in the but to leave and rejoin servers, search up names to follow and such, many of you stuck around and went out of your way to continue to journey with me. You have no idea how much that means to me!

So the real question is, what is the purpose of having two-step verification if I am not allowed to utilize it? Thus far, I have lost everything except for my Facebook and Steam account because I am unable to update the login credentials due to my old email being no longer available, and my email login has changed, resulting in the same account, but any emails sent to the old email address being bounced back. I strongly disagree with the logic behind this process. This has been the most frustrating experience I have ever encountered. I had worked diligently to achieve Twitch Affiliate status, which is now gone since my phone number associated with the account is not functional for resetting the password and email. 🤦 I am considering cutting my losses and abandoning the effort, as the outcome does not appear to be favorable for me.
