𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐠𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐧, 𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐩 𝐧𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐲𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐧

Sa ilang daang taong nagdaan, labis-labis na hirap ang pinagdaanan ng ating bansa sa kamay ng mga mananakop na dayuhan. Maraming buhay ang nasawi at maraming buhay ang dumanas ng pasakit. Maraming pangarap ang nawala at maraming pangako ang hindi natupad. Nakalulungkot. Nakapanghihinayang. Nakagagalit.

Sa kasalukuyang panahon, ang ating bansa ay muling sinusubok, muling pinapahirapan, at muling dinadagok ng mga mapagkunwaring tao. Hindi ng dayuhan, hindi ng mula sa ibang bayan–kundi ng mga taong saksi rin sa dinanas ng Pilipinas sa lupit na dala ng nakaraan. Mga taong tila walang pinagkatutuhan. Mapanlinlang. Mapagsamantala. Mapangahas.

Sa pagsigaw ng taumbayan, kala mo’y sila ang kaawa. Silang mga nakaupo sa pwesto ngunit walang magawa para ipagtanggol ang kanilang nasasakupan. Wari mo’y nakikipagkampihan sa mga dayuhan sa pagtugis ng bansang kinalakhan. Tinalo ang bomba at mga baril ng taga-ibang bayan, dahil sandata nila’y kamay na bakal. Malamig. Manhid. Mapagpuksa.

HIndi maikakailang tayo’y muling sinasakop, ngunit hindi tayo dapat pumayag na angkinin nila ang pag-aari na nararapat sa atin–yaman, boses, kapangyarihan. Ang pag-aalsa ng taumbayan ay marka ng pagkakaisa, simbolo ng pag-asa, at matinding pagnanais na pagdating ng araw, tayo’y makalalaya sa matalim na pangil ng mga buwaya.

Ang paghingi ng pananagutan ay pagsulong ng rebolusyon. Ito’y simula ng hakbang upang puksain ang mga mababangis na hayop na naghahari at nananamantala sa payapa sanang isla. Sa pagmulat ng ating mga mata, nawa’y hindi na tayo muling pumikit pa, dahil kasabay ng kanilang pagtataksil sa bayan ay ang simula ng paghangad ng mga mamamayan sa bagong Pilipinas. Malaya. Matapang. Marangal.

Mga mata'y nais nang magpahinga,
Pagod kahit wala namang ginagawa.

Dilat ang mata ngunit bakit wala akong makita?
Paligid ay umiikot, mga boses ay ilusyon na lang ba?
Ako'y gising pa ba o nananaginip na?
Trabaho at pag-aaral mapagsasabay pa ba?

Marahil mata'y papikit na, ngunit nananatiling bukas ang isipan.
Habang nakikinig sa klase, nakaupo sa maliit na silya,
Tinatatak sa sarili na balang araw, buhay ko'y giginhawa,
At hindi na kailanman ipagkakait sa sarili ang pahinga.

𝗔𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗮 𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴.

Hindi ba pagnanakaw ang sanhi ng kanilang pagkamatay? Siguro nga ang mga labi nila'y bakas lamang ng bagyong dumaan—ngunit kung iisipin, kung hindi lang halang ang mga bituka ng mga lider ng bansang 'to, hindi sana lagpas tao ang baha.

Ang kanilang pagiging mapang-agaw ay katumbas na rin ng pagiging mamamatay tao. Hindi ito pagbato ng sisi sa sino man, ito ay pag-alala na 𝗪𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗣𝗔 𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗨𝗞𝗨𝗟𝗢𝗡𝗚 habang ang bakas ng kanilang pagiging walang kabusugan ay nananatili, nananahan, nanunuot, lumalamon ng pangarap, at kumikitil ng buhay. Habang ang bansa ay lubog sa kalamidad, sila ay nasa himpapawid, ibang nasyon—malaya. Pribilehiyo nga naman kung sagipin ang mga sakim mula sa rehas ng parusa at hustisya para sa mga ninakawan ng karapatang magpatuloy.

Sila ay sakim—halimaw na anyong tao. 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗺 𝗻𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘄.

𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 | 𝐂𝐎𝐒 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐔𝐏 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐈𝐕 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐈

From November 10 to 12, the College of Science (COS) of the University of Rizal System - Morong Campus (URSM) underwent the AACCUP Accreditation Level IV Phase II for the programs Psychology, Mathematics, and Human Services. The College completed the accreditation process during this period.

The esteemed accreditors were Dr. Eva Marie C. Avila and Dr. Juliet R. Masangcap for Psychology; Prof. Ronel A. Baluntang and Dr. Lorena D. Tan for Mathematics; and Dr. John Mark Distor and Prof. Melody T. Gacita for Human Services. They were all led by Dr. Ronnie G. Torres and Dr. Jaime M. Forres.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) evaluates the quality of institutions and programs under state universities and colleges to ensure they meet established objectives and standards, promoting the continuous improvement of higher education in the Philippines.

𝙋𝙐𝘽𝙇𝙄𝘾 𝘼𝘿𝙑𝙄𝙎𝙊𝙍𝙔 | 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨. 3, 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐰𝐚𝐧

Super Typhoon Uwan is bringing heavy rains and destructive winds as it inches towards Luzon, placing Rizal Province under Tropical Wind Cyclone Signal No. 3, according to PAGASA.

As of Sunday at 11:00 AM, Uwan was spotted at the coastal waters of Pandan, Catanduanes carrying maximum sustained winds of 185 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of wind up to 230 kph while moving over west-northwest at 30 kph.

Red rainfall alert was raised over Southern Luzon including Rizal due to potential flooding and landslides in low and mountainous areas brought by intense rain and especially wind.

For public safety, authorities have announced the suspension of classes and government work in Luzon due to prevailing weather conditions. Malacañang and local officials in Rizal have confirmed that the suspension will be in effect on Monday, November 10, covering both classes and government offices. Meanwhile, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has extended class suspensions until Tuesday, November 11, to ensure continued precaution and safety for residents.

Residents are urged to stay alert, monitor weather updates, and prepare for possible evacuations as Uwan continues to strengthen.

𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧-𝐮𝐩 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐎𝐒 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

In preparation for the upcoming accreditation set to take place on November 10-12, 2025, at the College of Science (COS) for Level IV, Phase 2, for the following programs: Mathematics, Psychology, and Human Services, the students conducted a general cleaning drive in the COS Building and other facilities from 1:00-4:00 PM on November 06, 2025.

In anticipation of the approaching event, the College of Science organized a clean-up effort with the students in their assigned rooms. Meanwhile, the students were excused from their designated classes and their respective professors during this period.

This cleaning initiative would help the college navigate the accreditation process smoothly with the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP).
