AAAAUUUGH!!! Oh Well-As walking around in a thunderstorm hoisting large metal objects is not a good idea-even for the undead-The Somerville Veterans Memorial Parade has been canceled due to impending thunderstorms Sunday. I'm bummed that the awesome krewe I got together for DRAHBZ must disband but will dig the zombie brass band back up from the grave soon for another event! 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️🧟‍♂️

I'm looking for some help with my band that is marching in the Somerville parade on Sunday 5/21 from noon to about 4. I need some performers to march and help with carrying a banner, helping with my portable PA system, throwing beads and also singing with and getting the crowd to sing along with us and get them into the groove. It's a lot of fun and I've done this already at The Mermaid Parade in Coney Island and a Halloween parade.

Further fullfilling our motto "No rest for the wicked awesome"-In the initial stages of a podcast I'll be titling Worst Parent Ever. The target audience is the alternative parent or regular parent discussing reviews of products, media and question and answer sessions with guest experts on raising your kid in our modern society.

In development at TMP-Finally starting a book version of a story I've had in my head for a while I want to get through by the end of summer to self publish and make available on Amazon. It's the first in a girl power/young adult/action/vigilante series that I would love to develop into a graphic novel, animated series or movie. So far the writing is flowing quite nicely but mentally preparing for any writers block or plot challenges. It's an epic series with a deep background that could be 12 short books.

What is up with 2x4S MP?-Dr. Rah is working on developing private events bringing his potions skills to your kids or even adult-uh-(how do we say this without getting in trouble with WB?) "Magic Worldy type type stuff about a famous boy" themed parties. In addition Dr. Rah would also like to develop these events into providing cajun vittles. In order to get this going I am looking for people who might be interested in such events and do them at a VERY discounted price.

-Also you may have seen Dr. Rah has been teaching potions classes and causing general mayhem at New England Witchcraft and Wizarding School with O'Neil FX Studios at the Higgins Armory in Worcester MA. Check out our next Wizards Market event on June 10th! Although not a school day Dr. Rah will be having potions workshops and may spin a tale or two from his box of stories throughout the day.

Hey Ya'll- I need some help getting drummers! Dr. Rah And His Brass Zombsemble is marching in the Lion's Halloween Parade in Wobrn MA next Sunday. A bit of a last minute gig and my awesome usual suspects are not available. If you know of any drummers that may be interested in a relatively easy paid gig Sunday 10/30 from 12-4 please send them my way!

I supply the marching drums-they just need to bring sticks.

Dr. Rah And His Brass Zombsemble are marching in the Lion's Halloween Parade on Sunday 10/30 from 12-4 in Woburn MA and need some help with holding our banner(s), carrying a speaker (15 lbs.), handing out beads and general zombie wrangling. If you want to join there will free be free t-shirts, some beverage and/or other compensation!

DR. RAH AND HIS BRASS ZOMBSEMBLE GOT 2nd PLACE IN THE MERMAID PARADE FOR BEST MUSICAL GROUP!!! WHOO-HOO!!

Thanks SOOOO much to Triad Brass for blasting the tunes perfectly and being in makeup despite the heat. Thanks to Eric Stutz and Rosemary Stutz for helping with zombie wrangling, banner waving and throwing beads. AAIII-YEEE!

And of course thanks to the judges of the Mermaid Parade for putting on awesome event at a time when we all needed it badly. And judges-I'm so sorry I wasn't able to bribe you guys-I promise to have Pralines for all next year if we can do it.
