𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | DepEd DavNor's Education Program Supervisor for the Special Program in the Arts Liezl Josol, together with the 2025 DavRAA Meet Production Team, visits the DavNor Pioneers' Tindahan sa Pagbasa, where the 10 syllable-based poetry books of SPA-Creative Writing students are displayed.

This exhibit is part of the Davao Region's initiative to bolster reading literacy amongst athletes.

𝗙𝗢𝗢𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗟
Responding to DepEd DavNor's initiative on in the , Sto. Tomas National High School - Sto. Tomas West District - Special Program in the Arts STNHS, thru the Filipino Values Exhibit, showcased the syllable-based poetry books of selected Creative Writing students.

Deeply contemplated and self-written, each book contains 42 poems and 58 illustrations that tackle emotions, experiences, existence, reason and even life.

In exhibition until March 15, 2025 at the DavNor Pioneers Mess Hall, Visayan Village ES, Tagum City, we invite everyone to visit, read and enjoy all 420 sets of original poems with assisted illustrations by our creative leaners.

What makes these works of art more exciting is its QR code accessibility. One can secure an e-copy of the poetry books by scanning the QR codes on the book covers.

The arts and values expo of Sto. Tomas NHS is the champion for this year's Filipino Values Exhibit contest in the 2025 Division Festival of Talents.

POETRY BOOK LAUNCH AND FAIR
When was the last time you did a milestone for the first time?

As we culminate the National Arts Month 2023, SPA-Creative Writing, in collaboration with SPA-G10 Students, will launch its very first soft cover books demonstrating the writers prowess in poetry writing.

Book #1: Under the Hood
This is a 9-set poetry collection showcasing 9 different styles and strategies in poetry writing with different topics.

Book #2: Gunit Ta
This is a collaborative poetry collection laying down the writers' experiences on the love they used to have, on the love na hanggang gunita na lamang.

Book #3: Nagmamahal, Love
This is a collaborative SulaTula poetry collection conversing to the persons whom the writers love the most.

Book #4: Cool Lang
This is a collaborative poetry collection presenting different POVs on "Kelan nagkulang ang pag-ibig?"

See you on February 27 (1-5 PM) and 28 (9 AM - 7 PM) at Santo Tomas Cultural Center in the Poetry Book Launch and Fair, your homegrown writers, and grab your copies at a student-friendly cost.
