Arrest Made in Timonium Homicide

: Baltimore County Police homicide detectives have charged 65-year-old Karl Geiger with first-degree murder following the September 15, 2025 homicide of 69-year-old Patricia Watson-Geiger. Karl Geiger is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Original News Release - September 16, 2025
Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding a homicide. On Monday, September 15, at approximately 8:25 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Oakcroft Dr., 21093. When officers arrived, they located 69-year-old Patricia Watson-Geiger, who sustained apparent trauma to the upper body. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. As the investigation into this homicide continues, detectives are asking anyone with information about the case to contact 410-887-4636 (INFO).

Information may also be provided anonymously by contacting Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587(7LOCKUP). Information provided by phone or online through Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.

Residents may also provide details about this crime through the Baltimore County Police Department’s iWATCH program.

🚨 Community Update – Sparrows Point Middle School 🚨

Baltimore County Police have been working closely with school staff and the Behavioral Assessment Unit to investigate online threats made by an 11-year-old student at Sparrows Point Middle School.

After speaking with the student’s parents, school administrators, and concerned community members, police have confirmed that any potential threat has been addressed and there is no active danger to the school or surrounding community. The investigation is still ongoing to make sure our schools stay safe.

Please remember: threats—whether made online or in person—are taken very seriously. They cause real concern and disruption for students, families, and staff.

As always, if you see or hear something suspicious, say something. Keeping our schools safe is a team effort. 🛑📚👮‍♂️

Reported Bear Attack:

At 12:31 p.m., received a report of a bear attack in the area of Beckleysville Rd. & Gunpowder Rd. #21074. Responding units confirmed that a female saw a bear in the woods and screamed to warn others. She tripped while running away and fell into bushes, causing minor scratches. The bear made no contact with the female. EMS treated her for minor injuries from her fall, but did not transport her.

If you see wildlife, stay calm, give it space, and back away slowly.

      According to the Maryland State Police the driver is an 83 year old white female.
