CLAP Creative Lives Are Powerful

Today we are honoring the awesome art that has graced the covers of our past issues.🎨 Lindsay Noble, Josh Journey-Heinz, and Ryn Gibson to name a few!🖌️

We are so proud to have showcased art from members of our community. Our creator Holly Hilgenberg set out to make a space for women to express themselves through art. That turned into a seasonal feminist publication, and grew into a group of folks with different gender expressions and different life journeys.

To celebrate a decade of friendship and growth, we're putting out a decennial issue with contributions from YOU. 📗 Reflect on where you've been as a creative creature in the last 10 years, where you're at now and where you see yourself in the future.

Work is due on Samhain, Oct. 31.

A stroll down memory lane -- the CLAP mixer, "Beat the Winter Blues" at what was Yeti Records in South Minneapolis (January 23, 2012). The line-up (last slide) included music and readings by members of our community, portraits by Lisa Luck and some Great Waters beers. 🍻 Our CLAP community has always been about supporting creativity in all its forms.

We’ve done a lot over the last decade and we want to celebrate that with you, friends. We're putting together a NEW ISSUE with your contributions. ✏️

Reflect on where you've been as a creative creature in the last 10 years, where you're at now and where you see yourself in the future. 🌈

Reunited and it feels so good!

10 years of growing, changing, moving, learning, becoming: we and the folks in our community have gone through a lot since we last connected.💫 We want to honor the 10-year anniversary of the first issue of CLAP by collecting your expressions in an anniversary issue. 10 years ago, we put out the very first issue of CLAP. And now we’re back! We’re making an anniversary issue to celebrate a decade of creative, powerful living. We want YOU, members of our community, to be part of this project. Hi lovelies!
It's been a bit since we had an update, but better late than never, as they say.
We're working on the next issue, Lady (de) Constructed. If you have something you absolutely would love to see in print, send us a message. If you've emailed us your submissions already, please be patient as we go through all of the contributions.

We don't want to jinx anything, but this is going to be the best issue yet.
