If you were paying attention last month, you noticed that we posted a song or a video from the bands we've worked with over the last 5 years, with one notable exception. If you said, hey, whoa, where's the Wholewheat, you were correct in missing it. I held back on Wholewheat until November because he's not only a piece of our past but also our future. As we said early last year, we plan to release two Wholewheat tapes. You got the first one earlier this year, the second one is coming. If you haven't heard Wholewheat yet check out the video below. So, we're coming to the end of our month-long celebration of our first 5 years with one of my favorite releases. Way back in January 2013 we had the pleasure of releasing Jordon Salveson's Devil Don't Wake Me Up. Jordon writes some fantastic songs that I listen to regularly and still push on anyone who will listen. I hope there will be an opportunity to release more of his stuff someday, but for now, please listen to "Green Skinned", then get over to bandcamp and listen to the entire album. You'll be glad you did...trust me.

Our 5-year anniversary look back continues with a trip back to the summer of 2013. In early June of 2013 we released the debut LP from Chicago's Sister Crystals. The LP was launched with this video for "White". Like all good things, Sister Crystals ended a bit too soon, but you can still hear Colin as he's playing with Twin Peaks these days. The trip down memory lane continues...today we look back just a bit to 2015's The Hermeneut - Scattered Works. This album brings together a lot of the elements I love about experimental music...chaotic rhythms, layered sounds from various sources, and some general dissonance, all mixed together to create a beautiful ambient scene. Admittedly, this is probably the most challenging music we've released, but if you sink into it I promise the results are rewarding. If you've not heard this album start out with the first track, "Night Life".
