Chuck Mangione 1940-2025

American “smooth jazz” artist Chuck Mangione passed away on Tuesday 22 Juli 2025 at the age of 84 at his home in Rochester, New York.
Mangione became known worldwide with his 1978 hit 'Feels So Good'. He released more than thirty albums, was nominated 14 times for Grammy Awards and won twice: in 1976 for best instrumental composition, “Bellavia,” and in 1978 for best pop instrumental performance, for the title track from his score to the film “The Children of Sanchez.” Chuck and his brother Gap performed for years as 'The Jazz Brothers'.
He died in his sleep, according to People magazine.
