Nilu Thapa is the founder of the blog BIG hair LOUD mouth, which was launched in mid 2012, and has spread her name in the fields of fashion, digital and social media, collaborating with brands as a model, stylist, creative director and digital influencer. In 2014 Nilu won the Best Blogger Styling Award at Splash Fashions held in Bangalore for which she was featured in Elle India. Nilu has also been featured in various digital publications, both National and International ( Elle India, Cosmopolitan India, North East India Magazines, Wave Magazine Nepal, Now Fashion Paris ) for her quirky-chic sense of style, high quality content, and an eye for detail. Nilu was the face of the launch of Hidesign Icon collection in September 2014 and was featured in the Amazon.in where the collection was being featured. In June 2015, Nilu won the styling contest for the shoe label Clarks from Bangalore. In July 2015, Nilu won the , the national blogger styling contest with 60+ participants, where she won a Paid Trip to Paris and a chance to attend The Paris Fashion Week 2015. Nilu also got a two page feature spread in Elle India Magazine (August 2015 issue) as a part of her win. Nilu won the Elite Model Styling contest held in September 2015 in association with Max Fashions and was the first Indian blogger to be hosted in Elite Model Agency Paris Headquarters in the same year. Nilu has also come on the Cover of Good News Sikkim , a popular lifestyle and fashion magazine in Sikkim for her contribution to Fashion in the Indian Industry. Nilu was chosen to be a content partner for the IIFA June 2016 held in Madrid in association with LeEco. Nilu was chosen to be one of the Indian Ambassadors from India to visit Taiwan in October 2016 in association with Taiwan Tourism Bureau.
