Our summer Origin Food story features Chef Arlie Doxtator and his family bonds and food journey to present initiatives like Mending the Disconnect with Food: An Oneida Food Sovereignty Initiative. We are also showcasing among our recipe collection a Cucumber Tomato Salad using elements of the ukwehu-we-food recommended in everyone’s kitchen. Starring in this handy chart are corn, beans, squash, berries, meat, cucumbers, fresh-water fish, tomatoes, melons, yams, wild rice, raw maple syrup, tree nuts.
