'ഹിസ്റ്റോറിക്കൽ ബ്ലണ്ട'റിന് കൂപ്രസിദ്ധമായ പാർട്ടിയാണ് കോൺഗ്രസ്. മുമ്പ് ദേശീയ നേതൃത്വമാണ് അത് ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ ഇപ്പോൾ സംസ്ഥാന നേതൃത്വവും അതേ വഴിക്ക് തന്നെ. അടുത്ത നിയമസഭാ തെരെഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൻ്റെ സെമിഫൈനലിൽ അൻവറിനെ പോലെ ഒരാളെ കിട്ടിയിട്ട് അവസരം കളഞ്ഞുകുളിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പക്വത പഠിപ്പിക്കാൻ തുനിയുന്ന പൊട്ടത്തരം. ഈ ചാൻസ് ബിജെപിക്കോ സി പി എമ്മിനോ കിട്ടിയാൽ എന്തു ചെയ്യും എന്നവർ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് (ഇതേ നിലമ്പൂരിൽ ടി കെ ഹംസ ഒരൊറ്റ ഉദാഹരണം). ചരിത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പാഠം പഠിച്ച ചരിത്രം കോൺ ഗ്രസിനില്ല. പിന്നെ ഇതിലായിട്ട് ?! എൽ ഡി എഫിൽ നിന്ന് ഇനി ആരെങ്കിലും യു ഡി എഫിലേക്ക് ചാടാൻ ധൈര്യം കാണിക്കുമോ? നേതാക്കൾ മരിച്ചു പോയാൽ അവരുടെ മക്കളെയും കോൺഗ്രസ് കൈവിടില്ല എന്ന സന്ദേശമല്ലാതെ എന്ത് സന്ദേശമാണ് ഷൗക്കത്തിനെ സ്ഥാനാർത്ഥിയാക്കിയതിലൂടെ കോൺഗ്രസിനു നല്കാനുള്ളത് ?! ഇപ്പോൾ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നേതാക്കളുടെ മക്കൾക്കുള്ള സന്ദേശം.

അനുയായികൾ ജോയിയെ നിർദ്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടും അംഗീകരിക്കാതിരുന്നതിലൂടെ ഈ പാർട്ടി അതിൻ്റെ അനുയായികളുടെതല്ല, നേതാക്കളുടെത് മാത്രമാണ് എന്നു കോൺഗ്രസ് വീണ്ടും തെളിയിച്ചു.
ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ബി ജെ പി കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയ കുതന്ത്രത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചു നിൽക്കുന്ന പാർട്ടിയാണ് കേരള സി പി എം. അത് സതീശൻ ഇനിയും മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടുവേണം.
അതുകൊണ്ട് നിലമ്പൂരിൽ സ്വരാജ് ജയിച്ചാൽ പോലും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടാനില്ല....
