Okay, I've had enough! Please feel free to unfriend me if you don't like reading the truth.
The government is not to blame for inflation, gas prices. grocery prices or the fact that you have to book an appointment. Go back to the supreme court and citizens united in 2010 declaring corporations were people. That and dark money going into political campaigns and the supremes receiving lavish favors without having to declare any of it or to recuse themselves from any case, conflicted or not.
It's not just the government - it's the ceos and the lawyers and the judges and the greed of all of them - and we pay the price!
So, stop whining about your government, starting with school superintendents that you put into office or failed to put someone better there because you didn't vote or research where their backing was coming from, and vote! Don't rely on any one publication, book, tv show, celebrity - listen to and read them all. Make an informed decision.
Boycott corporations, restaurants, stores that support candidates you disagree with. If every high school and college student spent one day where, together, they withheld their money from a company, causing them to lose millions of dollars instead of holding signs or destroying a work of art, they will pay attention! Use your brain and your wallet and be one of those who helped put an end to the greed! Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!
