Every now and then I try a VR experience that reminds me why I fell in love with the medium in the first place.

ArtQuest VR is one of those.

I recently spoke with creator Eric Mosinger about the story behind the app and spent time exploring its new sculpture and archaeology collections. It's one of the best examples I've seen of how VR can make art feel personal and accessible.

Unable to find the virtual museum experience he wanted, Eric Mosinger built it himself. That idea eventually grew into ArtQuest VR, one of VR's most ambitious virtual museums.

SwingFit is more than just FunFitLand’s take on a flow workout. I spent some time with the preview and spoke with the team about what went into building it.

If you haven’t tried it yet, the free public preview is open through the end of June.

FunFitLand's new SwingFit mode is the latest entrant into the flow-based VR fitness category. After going hands-on with the public preview, we're convinced it truly stands on its own.

Spent some time with Outside The Lines VR this weekend and came away impressed with how thoughtfully designed it is.

The onboarding is excellent, the controls stay out of your way, and mixed reality works really well for this kind of relaxing VR experience.

Pluto TV’s immersive app on Quest is kind of sneaky.

The content is the same stuff you’d watch anywhere, but the sci-fi environments are really well done and I keep finding myself going back to it.

It actually makes a case for just sitting in VR and watching something for a while.

Big thing missing right now is social. You can feel it in some of these spaces.
