Daniel Blake Production Audio Engineer working in a 120 year-old schoolhouse studio. I work in a 100-year old schoolhouse that’s been re-purposed into a music studio. I was hooked!

I’m a mixer and audio engineer based in the small, sunny village of Armbrust, PA, just outside of Pittsburgh. My local studio coupled with my online services have allowed me to work with artists and bands from all over the world. I started out my journey as a musician in love with songs and arrangements. Self-taught on five instruments, I played in a variety of bands throughout my teenage years. A

t fifteen I walked in to a recording studio for the first time to play guitar on my then girlfriend’s pop album. The studio felt like the one place I could come to everyday and never grow tired. As time went on, I became captivated by the way records sound and feel, so I began to study and finally build my own studio in which I’ve produced hundreds of songs over the past few years. Whether you’re a band or solo artist looking for an engineer who can take your project from start to finish, or a self-recording artist looking for a dedicated professional to handle mixing and mastering for you, I’m affordable, friendly, and passionate about my craft. Music is the soundtrack of our lives. Songs are the stories of our experiences. Presenting these stories, whatever genre they may be told in, is my passionate responsibility and my service to artists from all walks of life.

About

I’m an audio engineer based in the small, sunny village of Armbrust just outside of Pittsburgh. I do my work in a 100-year-old schoolhouse that’s been converted to a recording studio. My local studio, coupled with my online services, has allowed me to work with artists from all over the world.

I started out my journey as a musician. Self-taught on five instruments, I played in a variety of bands throughout my teenage years. At fifteen, I walked into a recording studio for the first time to play guitar on my then-girlfriend’s pop album and I was hooked! The studio felt like a place I could never grow tired of. Soon after I became captivated by the sound of music recordings and began to study audio engineering.

In the years that followed, I began to record local artists out of my bedroom, and sometimes theirs! I slowly started to hone my skills by taking every recording job I could get. Now I’m based in The Schoolhouse recording studio where I’ve produced and engineered over 500 songs in the past few years.
