Here’s a little desk update since my last update in last October. The layout is still the same but I’ve added a few subtle touches to make it a nicer place to work/ study and also to make it a little more ✨maximal✨ I want to expand my keyboard collection display but I’m still thinking whether I should buy another pegboard or a shelf this time🤔 Any suggestions?

Happy Friday! The first week after the Lunar New Year has just ended. Initially, I didn’t expect to enjoy the holiday as much, but now I find myself wishing it could last a bit longer🤣 While I’ll be logging some weekend work hours, I’m determined to carve out time for socializing and enjoying my favorite leisure activities.

Anyway, here’s another desk vlog. With my university classes wrapped up, my desk time has become a mix of content creation and random activities, one of which is changing keycaps. While still giving a minimalist vibe, they take it to the next level with the topographical pattern. Plus, the sound they produce while typing is truly music to my ears🎶

One thing to note is that the keycaps are all the same height, which might take some getting used to if you’re accustomed to keyboards with sculpted profiles.

I used to think I was immune to its influence until last week, when gloomy skies made it hard for me to focus and be productive. As a morning person, I always try to get things done early, but the lack of sunlight left me feeling unmotivated and easily bored with my tasks. But on one rare morning, the sunlight flooded my room, and everything changed! I felt energized and motivated, and I managed to tackle all the tasks I had been putting off for days. It dawned on me how much the weather impacts my mood and productivity🤭

Reflecting on 2023, it was a year filled with opportunities but also marked by overwhelming stress and burnout. The number one reason that pushed me to the brink of burning out was neglecting my physical and mental health, so prioritizing my health is non-negotiable in 2024. Unbox with me 📦⋆˚✿˖°‧₊˚ ☁️⋅♡𓂃

There’s something undeniably thrilling about the unboxing experience, it’s like unwrapping your favorite present as a kid🤣 For me, I love unboxing tech products, especially keyboards, so here’s another vlog of me unboxing my favorite gift hehe.

Featured in this vlog is the K99 keyboard from mchose_official, which is also my first full-size keyboard. The typing sound is thocky and creamy straight out of the box, which makes me really impressed. The stunning blue gradient colors give off the beachy vibes and are so satisfying-looking. Also, the RGB is very dynamic and the keyboard even has the RGB on the sides, which adds another unique touch to itself and the setup in general. I’ve been using it non-stop since received it and I’m so happy to have it in my collection!
